Senior Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Purpose

To conduct the proper and comprehensive software quality assurance testing to the modules and features made by the frontend and backend developers, ensuring that we release a certified quality assured software product developed in- house

Can support 1 to 5 developers

Responsibilities to conduct

• Demonstrate proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces
• Functionality testing
• Usability testing
• Data accuracy and integrity testing
• Cross-browser and/or cross-mobile devices compatibility testing
• Time and motion testing
• Regression testing
• Performance load testing
• Stress testing
• Automated testing
• Cybersecurity testing
• Collaborate with designers, frontend and backend developers to implement and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 5 to 8 years working expertise in understanding of Vue.js, Next.js, ReactJS and its ecosystem
• 5 t 8 years in database architecture and implementation using any of these RDBMS such aas Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL or MongoDB both in a datacenter / company premise or a cloud-based setup
• Experience with integrating frontend logic with backend Web APIs and automated web scripting languages
• 5 to 8 years using any of these source code repositories such as Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket
• Familiarity with industry best practices for UI/UX development, focusing on security, performance, and responsiveness

Value Added Nice to haves

• Experience with Material UI (MUI) is a plus
• Implement and customize components to enhance the overall design and user interface
• Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, BrowserStack, TestSigma or Lambda automated testing tools
• Experience using Postman for testing and troubleshooting frontend components and Collaborate with the testing team to ensure the reliability and performance of frontend features
